Trine Mathea Skjeltorp

Trine is an architect specialised in cultural heritage management and joined NIKU in 2025.

She holds a degree in Architecture from  the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) where she graduated in 2018 , and in addition completed a master’s degree in Cultural Heritage management at at NTNU in 2023.

Trine has worked as an architect in the private sector, with projects of all scales and types, ranging from land-use planning, zoning plan and site analyses, to the design of small-scale buildings such as cabins and houses to larger-scale complex and multidisciplinary building projects.

Trine has experience with documentation, surveying and mapping both buildings and sites, including work with cultural heritage assessment and reports in both planning and building application processes.
