Hulda Blix is a monumental art conservator at NIKU.
Her main area of work is architectural finishes research on architectural surfaces, in addition to conservation of wall paintings and sculpture.
She has previously worked with architectural finishes research in Copenhagen and as a sculpture conservator in the Oslo City Art Collection.
Blix completed her Bachelor of Science in Conservation (BSc Cons.) in the Monumental Art Conservation programme at the School of Conservation in Copenhagen in 2019. She subsequently completed a continuing education master’s degree in architectural conservation at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, with a master’s thesis focusing on the dating of historic wallpapers.
